
Transmission include a six-speed manual or Audi’s long standing S tonic auto. Buyers who opt for the manual will lose a few tenths to sixty, but gain a few MPGs. Part of the MPG gain is thanks to weight, as the manual has a lightweight magnesium-alloy casing.
All that power and weight savings translate to a o-62 claim of about 5 seconds. Regardless off gear choice, Audi says the full 280 lb/ft of torque is available from 1800 rpms all the way to 5500, so response should be great.
