Bee County Residents Want Something Done About Illegal Tire Dump

Residents are wondering what should be done about tens of thousands of old tires that have been sitting on some private property near Beeville.

On Monday, Precinct 3 County Commissioner Eloy Rodriguez provided photos which appear to show folks unloading tires at the lot on Second Road near Beeville. 52-year old Ernest Ramirez, who used to live on the property where the tires were dumped, has been charged with public nuisance and health and safety code violations, but Commissioner Rodriguez wants whoever was in charge of dumping the tires at the property to be held responsible.
