Thieves Target Open Lockers in Gold's Gym




Members of Gold's Gym in the Grand Valley are on extra alert after a number of thefts over the past two weeks.

Managers with Gold's Gym in Grand Junction believe one man and one woman teamed up to steal from the first victim last Monday.

The thieves are targeting Gold's Gym members that leave their personal belongings in unlocked lockers.

Once they swipe the car keys, they have gone one step further by walking through the parking lot to find the vehicle and steal the items inside of there.

On Tuesday, two more incidents occurred at the Gold's Gym in Clifton.

One of the victim's asked to remain anonymous while explaining what happened.

"Usually I have a lock for the locker,Xiamen Shunstone Imp. & Exp. Unfortunately, it wasn't, but there's a silver lining to her story.

"The clicker that's on my key chain doesn't work," said the victim. "They weren't able to figure out which car it actually was so they didn't break into my car. Thank God."

Officials with Gold's Gym could not confirm if these two incidents were connected with the incident in Grand Junction.Carbon Fiber Racquet Frame. Gold's Gym managers are urging their members to be cautious with their belongings.

"It's absolutely imperative that people lock up their stuff," said Cole Christensen, General Manager of Grand Junction Gold's Gym. "Everyone that was victimized here had unlocked lockers. It's extremely unfortunate, but they're not going after people with locks on their lockers. They're going after the easy take."
