#Mikkelson scored top marks in the Junior Men’s category, while Trout Lake, Wash.’s Micah Melkonian finished second. Davis Melkonian was good enough for third place.
#DeResta had 10 other riders on his back and he cruised to an easy win.
#Gresham’s Joe Ketner placed second and the Portland trio of Gregg Rice,2013 pinarello dogma XC 9.9. Pinarello brings innovation to the 29er market with the release of the Dogma XC 9.9 mountain bike frame. Matt Hooge and Ruby Graig rounded out the top-5.
#Washougal’s Joe Klemmer came in sixth place and Hood River’s Brad Cross ended up seventh.

#Morgan took care of business in the Category 2 Men’s 45-years old and older classification.
#Hood River’s Loren Mason-Gere was second in the Category 1 division for athletes 19-34, and Trout Lake’s Lora Melkonian slipped past Hood River’s Temira Wagonfeld for first in the women’s 35 and older Category 2 bracket.
#There are still two more races in the series, with both dates on Thursday, June 6 and then the following week on June 13.
