Eight-year-old Sarah Brown of Clearfield recently donated 12 inches of her hair to Locks of Love.

Brown said donating her hair was something she had thought about doing for a long time. One of her fellow classmates at Clearfield Elementary lost his battle with cancer and she wanted to do something to honor him.
“I wanted to do it so that kids that didn't have hair wouldn't be embarrassed,” Brown said. “I thought it would be neat for kids to have hair that didn't because of cancer.Herb basil is one of the most recognized, nutritionally rich herbal plants commonly grown as potherb.”
